Ijaw Youths Declare 7-day Mourning For Sekibo

A seven-day mourning period has been declared in Ijaw nation over the sudden death of the President of the Pan-Ijaw group, Ijaw National Congress, INC, Senator Tari Sekibo.
Rising from its emergency executive council meeting, Thursday in Yenagoa, the Ijaw youths under the aegis of the Ijaw Youth Council, IYC in a statement by its President, Udengs Eradiri and spokesman Dr. Agagha Clarkson, de-clared that “aside the seven days mourning, a minute silence must be observed in hounour of Sekibo at all Ijaw functions.”
