Police Shooting: Two Persons Killed, Others Injured in Port Harcourt



Police this afternoon shoots residents in Rumuola, Port Harcourt Rivers State mercilessly with all sorts of weapon killing two persons leaving many injured and properties destroyed. The weapons used according to witnesses were Tear Gasses, English pestles, Double Barrels, Even AK47. confirming from residents who are also eye witnesses, said the policemen who Came to the place with two Armourd Vehicles were sent as a result of stopping APC from holding their meeting. According to report we gathered, the Policemen were sent by one of PDP member (Name Wit held)

The police are said to have stop APC Party Members from holding their meetings why shoot residents? We will continue to investigate until we get the whole truth. Now residents are complaining that the Policemen where just shooting any how as if they where not trained, "how could a trained Policeman shoot directly on mere residents instead of shooting the air" Obinna one of the resident said. Illegal Shooting: Police Attack Residents in Port Harcourt



Residents in Rumuola, Port Harcourt Rivers State has cried out for justice over Illegal shooting by the Mobile Police (Mopol) Force in their residence this afternoon. The shooting which took place starting from around 11:30am this morning, is said to have stop this evening.
The Police whom were said to have been sent for peace keeping turn up to be problem makers. About Two people died instantly a (child and a young man) leaving others injured and properties destroyed. See More

Military Kill Over 40 Suspected Boko Haram Members In Coordinated Ground, Air Assaults In Borno

The war against radical Islamist sect – Boko Haram – in Borno State recorded a major success on Wednesday as more than 40 suspected members of the sect were killed in a Military raid involving air strikes and ground assault by troops of the 7 Division, Nigerian Army in Bita village area, along Damboa-Gwoza road.
It would be recalled that almost a fortnight ago, over 20 suspected terrorists were reportedly killed by the troops of the 7 Division in Bita village, while several others escaped when the military launched an offensive on one of the Boko Haram hideouts in the area, as confirmed to reporters by the Spokesman of the Division, Colonel Mohammed Dole.
Bita, which is considered one of the strongholds of the terrorists, is located 32 kilometres west of Gwoza.
