Manchester City midfielder Samir Nasri will be sidelined for eight
weeks due to a medial knee ligament injury he sustained in Sunday’s win
at Newcastle.
Manager, Manuel Pellegrini, was curious of the Frenchman’s condition
following a challenge by Mapou Yanga-Mbiwa at St. James’ Park.
He had said the player will undergo a test on Monday to determine the extent of what he termed a serious injury.
