11 Things Every Lady Should Know

Here are 11 things every lady should know
1. Few things are more important than your health. Schedule regular physicals and gyno appointments. Learn how to do a chest exam. And never be afraid to talk to a doctor if you suspect something is wrong, no matter how embarrassing — as merulian wrote, “they’ve seen it all before and they will not be alarmed.”
2. You don’t have to want kids. That’s not to say that knowing you do want children is bad — of course, it’s not. But opting out of motherhood is also a completely valid choice, no matter how much flak you may get for it from your family and friends. As memory-eater wrote:
You can have any reason you like for not wanting kids — a desire to keep your life for yourself, a dislike of children, a fear of pregnancy. There is an intense pressure for women to procreate, and most people out there aren’t going to understand the decision. F*ck ‘em. It’s your life, and your womb. No one can predict what you will or will not regret.
3. Always pee after s*x. This will get rid of bacteria that may have accumulated in your urethra, lessening the chance that you’ll contract a urinary tract infection (UTI). And if you do have a UTI, heed miss-adler’s advice: “If you have a UTI and your back starts to hurt really bad and you become feverish… it’s ER time.”
4. Make sure your bra actually fits. It’s also a good idea to get re-measured every couple of years, especially if your body shape has changed.
5. Cold water gets blood out of fabric, and hot water sets blood to stain. If you get blood on clothing, rinse it with cold water ASAP. Then you can wash it as usual.
6. Your body is not weird. We think HeeeyAssbutt said it best:
b**bs, bellies, legs, feet, ears, noses, EVERYTHING comes in all different sizes, shapes, and levels of hairiness. Quit judging yourself and others on the size of a thigh gap, how much belly comes out over the top of jeans, and how many damn chins someone has.
7. You don’t need to apologize for everything. As ohmycat points out, “It’s only two words but saying it 10 times a day every day will start to affect how you view yourself and others around you. ”
8. Basic home and car maintenance. Why rely on someone else to help you with simple tasks? According to vogueadishu, “You should always have a basic tool set in your house and know how to use [it], and the same with the trunk of your car.”
9. Be true to yourself. We couldn’t have put it better than Alexispinpgh: “Be exactly as funny, independent, smart, sexy, annoying, complicated, and talkative as you are. Someone will appreciate it and they’re the ones you want to appreciate you anyway.”
10. It’s better to be alone than with the wrong partner. Funchy’s advice to heterosexual women can be applied to almost any romantic relationship: “You cannot and should not try to change the other person. If you can’t accept and love him as he is, he’s not right for you. If he doesn’t make you happy as he is, move on.”
11. “Feminist” is not a dirty word, contrary to what some celebrities would have you believe. We agree with zombiekittiez on this one: “If something isn’t fair or isn’t right, you don’t have to keep quiet and act like a ‘lady.’ You are a person before you are a woman.”

Burna Boy Reportedly Leaves The Headies 2013 Ceremony, After Losing To Sean Tizzle

Wow, didn’t know that Nigerian artistes took this award thing so so personal, na wa ooh!
After the Orezi report of him complaining about not getting the best Raggae award which he felt he deserved more than Waje who went home with the award.
I now have reports that Burna Boy left the Headies 2013 event as soon as Sean Tizzle was announced the winner of the Next Rated category.
The next rated award comes with a brand new ride and seems to be one whom every new artist looks forward to getting for himself.
Sho Lee crooner, Sean Tizzle picked the award and got the keys to a Hyundai Tucson SUV.
As soon as Sean Tizzle was announced as the winner, Burna Boy left the venue, telling photographers not to take photos of him.
Some industry insiders at the event were overheard saying Burna Boy deserved the award more than his fellow nominees including Sean Tizzle, Dammy Krane, Seyi Shay and Phyno.
It has also been speculated that Burna Boy didn’t win the award because he is a GLO ambassador and the awards show is sponsored by a fellow telecommunications company MTN Nigeria

Abia State University To Make Igbo Language A Compulsory Subject

Gregory University, Uturu (GUU), Abia State, is to introduce the Igbo language as a compulsory course in the second year. The news was announced at the 6th edition of the Igbo (Uturu) Cultural Carnival, held at the university, by Prof. Ihechukwu Madubuike, Director, Igbo Renaissance.

SEE ORIGINAL SOURCE

“By the next two years, the university plans to introduce the Igbo language as a compulsory subject for all students in the second year,” Prof. Madubuike said.
“Whether you are Yoruba, Hausa or Efik, you must take Igbo as a compulsory subject, in spite of your area of specialisation.”
He described the Igbo language as the “soul of the culture of Ndigbo,” stressing that the whole culture will become extinct should the language disappear.
Earlier, the traditional ruler of Oko in Anambra state and a former Minister of Education, Igwe Laz Ekwueme, urged people of the South-East to preserve the Igbo language. He expressed regret that the language was under serious threat, as many families of Igbo origin preferred to communicate in foreign languages, especially the English language, with their children.
Prof. Barth Chukwuezi, a director in the National Commission for Museums and Monuments and Head, Educational Services and Training, noted that the Igbo language ranked among the few native languages in the country facing serious threats of possible extinction. He advised parents to use the Igbo language in their homes as a major means of communication with their offsprings.
The initiator and sponsor of the carnival said that the objective of the yearly event was to provide a platform for the transmission of Igbo culture from one generation to another, among others.
He said that the theme of this year’s carnival, “Ibu anyi danda,” meaning “Resilience and the indomitable spirit,” of Ndigbo underscored the numerous challenges and struggles faced by the Igbo man.
Ibe noted that God had always rewarded the Igbo man with huge success in his vocations and determination to succeed in life.
The lecture on the theme was delivered by a renowned author and publisher, Mr Chinedum Ofomata.
Highlights of the ceremony included cultural dances by various dance groups from 16 states of the federation.
Different kinds of masquerades, including “Ijele” and “Atu” from Anambra took turns to perform at the event which attracted a large crowd from within and outside the country

T.B. Joshua Debunks Rumours On Malawi President

The Synagogue Church of All Nations, has debunked rumours spreading around that Malawi’s President Joyce Banda, has received a prophecy from Prophet T.B. Joshua that she will only be president for another two years after the 2014 elections are totally false.
The church said in a statement on Saturday that the rumours are mischievous and originated from the “father, the sons and daughters of lies”.
“There are rumours spreading around that T.B. Joshua has given Malawi’s President, Joyce Banda, a prophecy about the 2014 elections and told her that she will be President for only two years. These rumours are 100 per cent false and are not from Prophet T.B. Joshua or The SCOAN,” the Facebook statement read.
“Do not listen to the father of lies, the sons of lies and the daughters of lies,” it added.
Banda was spotted arriving T.B. Joshua’s church in Lagos Nigeria, Thursday, for prayers from a man she calls her ‘spiritual godfather’. It was her second visit in recent weeks to the Nigerian church. SEE ORIGINAL SOURCE

‘I Got HIV While Looking For A Child’

My husband married me a virgin , I was HIV negative and so was he when we got married. Certain things happened to me that exposed me to unhealthy practices and I believe strongly that that was how I got HIV. SEE ORIGINAL SOURCE

Did you do HIV tests before you got married?
Yes, we did. It was a compulsory test before getting married. We were both HIV negative.
When did you realise you had the virus?
It was in 2007. I got pregnant and was asked to do some random tests. That was how I found out I was HIV positive.
Do you know how you contracted the virus?
Sometimes, it’s difficult to tell because there are so many ways through which one can get the virus but you can trace it if you vividly remember the activities you engaged in for some months and years.
Can you explain what you mean by activities one engages in?
In my case, my husband married me a virgin and like I told you earlier, I was HIV negative and so was he when we got married. Certain things happened to me that exposed me to unhealthy practices and I believe strongly that that was how I got HIV.
Unhealthy practices?
I could not conceive when I got married. My husband was not worried because it was a young marriage, but his family members were not happy with me. They said all sorts of nasty things to me and tried to get my husband to send me out of the house. It created tension in my home. I went to different churches and herbalists within and outside Lagos. In the herbalist’s home, I was given incisions with a razor blade. I received the incisions on two different occasions. Then in 2007, my mother-in-law arranged a new wife for my husband behind my back.
Did he tell you about the new wife?
No. In fact, I didn’t know until much later. It was one of my friends in the village that told me what my mother-in-law had been up to. My husband just told me that he was going to our village to see his mum. I did not suspect anything. It was on that trip they introduced the new wife to him. He rejected the wife and came back to Lagos but he did not tell me anything. One day, one of my friends called me and asked me if I knew what my husband came to the village for. She narrated the scheme to me and I confronted my husband. He said he didn’t tell me because it would hurt me. He reasoned that since he didn’t take the wife, I would be happy not knowing what transpired in the village.
It was that same year my in-laws wanted to get another wife for my husband that I got pregnant. That is why I counsel women that patience is everything. I got pregnant when God was ready to give me a child. It wasn’t the herbalist or white garment churches that made it possible. They gave me some very horrible concoctions to drink in those churches after praying on them. They took me to rivers to have my bath. When I saw that all those things were not working, I stopped. Several months after, I just discovered I was pregnant. In fact, I remember vividly that at the herbalist’s place, I didn’t give them the blade that was used for the incisions. That was the least thing on my mind, I just wanted a baby.
How many people did you see at the herbalist each time you went?
Quite a few, mostly women and it was the quest for children that took them there. They also got incisions.
Was it with the same blade?
I’m not sure about that because we went in at separate times
How did your husband receive the news of your status?
Towards the end of 2007, I got pregnant. He felt very bad when he heard about my status. He was downcast. I thought it was the end of our marriage. I thought it was the end of everything I struggled to keep. He shocked me when he said he was not going to leave me and it wasn’t the end of the world but that he needed to do the test too. He did it and he was negative. I gave birth to our child and she’s negative.
Do you experience any sort of stigmatisation?
No, my status is known to only my husband and I, and he has never used it to taunt me in any way. That is how I know that he truly loves me. Of course, it took him some time to get over it, it was very gradual but he took it calmly. We were both very sad. We went for counselling together. I told him that it was my desperation to have a child that forced me to seek alternative measures. He didn’t know I went to all those places. He’s very understanding and I sometimes wonder if he’s for real.
What steps do you take to ensure he remains negative?
We have two children now and they are both negative. He uses a condom and whenever we are trying to procreate, we are both placed on drugs to ensure that he doesn’t contract it.
I have spoken to a few women who share similar experiences with you. What advice would you give to women, especially the married ones that are yet to have children?
I wish our society would just leave couples alone and stop interfering with whether they have children or not. That is the problem, everyone feels they should have a say in one’s marriage. The first step is that couples should not allow family members or friends tell them what is best for them. Also women should be patient. Just look at me, if I had been patient, all these would not have happened to me. Couples should know that God’s time is the best. I also want to say that HIV does not kill. What kills is depression and laziness. Some people will say because they are HIV positive, they will stop working and start being dependent on others. Being dependent on other people will affect one’s psyche, lead to depression and eventually death. In addition I will advise people, spread the news, but don’t spread the virus.

“Eagles Will Win 2014 World Cup If…” – Guru Maharaj Ji Predicts Victory, Gives Condition

The Spiritual Leader of One Love Family, Satguru Maharaj Ji, has predicted victory for Super Eagles at the forthcoming 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
SEE ORIGINAL SOURCE
He made this known to Daily Independent at his Spiritual Village, Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, while speaking on plans to mark his spiritual birthday on January 1, 2014.
Maharaj Ji was determined speaking about it:
“I have said it and nothing will change it. If the Super Eagles handler, Stephen Keshi, shows more love to Maharaj Ji, the true name of the Almighty. He will lead the team to victory that will shock the world.
“I want him and top shots of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) to visit Maharaj Ji Village and let us have a discussion. Let them come and put Maharaj Ji’s power to test. I cannot be here and Nigeria won’t be able to conquer the world.
“I told them before that Eagles will win the Nation’s Cup and so it was. The powers of Chukwujekwukwu will touch the players again and they will have strength to run faster as children of the light than any other team at the tournament. Nigerians should come and avail themselves of the opportunity of the power now.
“Keshi should humble himself more. I foresee the cup coming to Nigeria in 2014. Nigerians should stop doubting because the Living Perfect Master is talking. I think by now government in its own wisdom would have shown appreciation to me for the victory of Eagles at the last Nation’s Cup. They should know that it is only by encouraging me that they receive more.”
The Spiritual Leader proceeded:
“The players, particularly the goal keeper, should avoid wearing blue jersey which was one of the things that caused initial problems for the team during the Nation’s Cup before an NFF top shot got across to me to intercede. Blue is the colour of mermaid. That is not ideal for any progressive development.
“I have said it loud and clear that the cup is within reach and definitely it will come to Nigeria if the sports administrators and the coaches take the advantage. I cautioned Samson Siasia, the former Eagles’ handler, but he retorted saying ‘is Satguru God’? That affected him and he was booted out.
“However, not only the Super Eagles, tell other national teams to come and receive the power to excel and it shall be well with them at any tournament,”he assured.

Why Timaya Is Afraid Of Oritse Femi

Oritse Femi who gained popularity after releasing his hit track ‘Mercies of Da Lord’ featuring Dagrin says Timaya still sees him as a threat.
He made this statement while interviewed by Vanguard Newspaper. According to him, even though they are friends, Timaya is always tries to compete with Femi. SEE ORIGINAL SOURCE

Here is the extract from the interview:
“But talking about Timaya, he is a good friend and right from time, Timaya has always seen me as a competitor. You know sometimes, someone can be your friend and still feels you are the only problem he has. The last time that I called him that we should do a song together, he said we are going to do it but he kept postponing it because he sees me as a threat. He doesn’t want a situation whereby people will be comparing us. Timaya is a good artiste and he has his own energy and he keeps doing what he knows how to do best but to me, I don’t see him as a challenger. I can compete with any artiste in the world.”
In your opinion, who is better: Timaya or Oritse Femi?

Fireworks Injure 160 As Philippines Prepare For New Year

Over 160 people have been injured by fireworks in the Philippines as they prepared to welcome the New Year, the government said Saturday.
A 14-year-old boy who lost his right hand and an elderly man with a ruptured eyeball were among the worst injured so far, Assistant Health Secretary Eric Tayag said.
He tweeted that a five-year-old had also lost his right index finger from using fireworks.
The Asian nation of 100 million people traditionally greets the New Year by making noise in the belief it will drive bad spirits away.
Households start stockpiling fireworks around Christmas and start using them days before New Year’s Eve. SEE MAIN SOURCE

Apart from fireworks, gun owners are another seasonal hazard as they fire their weapons in the air to celebrate Christmas and New Year.
Tayag said government hospitals had tallied 164 firework injuries in the runup to New Year’s Eve, plus one case of a firecracker being swallowed.
“Active fireworks users (are) up by eight percent this year compared to 2012,” he said, without giving figures.
He said one person was also wounded by a stray bullet.
Celebratory gunfire killed a four-year-old boy and more than 400 others were injured by powerful fireworks in the runup to 2013, according to police and health department tallies. [AFP]

4 Lies Women Tell Their Friends About Men

Are you guilty of telling a friend one of these lies?
You’d be hard-pressed to be among a group of ladies with nothing to say regarding your relationship. So if one of your best friends is gabbing more than a “Chatty Cathy” doll, avoid these 5 lies women tell each other about men and dating: SEE MAIN SOURCE

4. “He’s probably just busy.” When you first started dating, he showed up regularly with flowers and couldn’t stop whispering sweet nothings into your ear. But now? You’re lucky if he returns your phone calls because he’s sooo busy. Your BFF may console you otherwise, but bottom line is we all have the same amount of hours in our day. Break free, girl. There are plenty of fish in the sea who will make time to take your bait no matter when the tide is receding.
3. “I know exactly how you feel.” Um. No. You don’t. Perhaps your friend has dealt with a similar circumstance, but the only way for her to know how you feel is to be you. Everyone’s feelings are unique to themselves. She might have some good advice, but in my experience “I know exactly how you feel” is more of a redirect to make conversation about herself than to input any life-altering suggestions. Proceed with caution.
2. “He’s cheating on you.” Okay, Miss Negative Nancy, he fell asleep and forgot to text you one night. It’s not like he called you someone else’s name in the middle of s*x or didn’t invite you to his birthday dinner. Just because your friend’s ex cheated on her with a stripper named Princess doesn’t mean all men are scum.
1. “All men are the same.” On the contrary. Men are like shoes; no two fit alike and you have to try a bunch on until you find the perfect fit. Some are uncomfortable, some make you feel like a hooker, but one will fit so well you think you’re walking on cloud nine.

"I'm not ready for marriage' - Flavour says in new interview

In a new interview with Vanguard, highlife artist Flavour said he's single and not thinking of marriage
People will always talk and turn around stories. But I am still single because marriage is not my priority for now. I  still want to hit the top before thinking about marriage. It’s not yet time. I am still concentrating on my music.
SEE MAIN SOURCE

Flavour also explains how he manages to stays away from controversy/scandal
I try to stay away from trouble. For instance, I don’t even  go to clubs. Any time I want to do something, I do it in the comfort of my house. I party inside my house. I do my  recording inside my house. When you start mingling and partying with everybody in different places that is where one or two things would start to emerge.
I’m either here in my house or in my second house on the Island. When you mingle much with people, at times you start trusting people that are not supposed to be trusted. You start having divided attention. You would take a picture and make joke with it and tomorrow it’s all over the newspapers and internet.

Calabar Churches Petitions Imoke Over Carnival On Sunday

As Calabar remains agog with its annual carnival, churches in the Cross River State capital, under the aegis of Christian Youth Action Group (CYAG), have advised the state government not to stage carnival on Sunday again.
According to the group, Sunday was the Sabbath (or holy day), and should not be desecrated…and the movement of Christians on such a day should not be restricted.
In a petition written to Governor Liyel Imoke, CYAG said it was unholy to organise carnival dry run along major roads of Calabar that are used by Christians on Sunday to access their worship centres, noting that the ban on movement on such routes prevent them from worshiping. SEE MAIN SOURCE

Carnival dry run is a rehearsal by both the children and adult bands of Carnival Calabar to prepare them for the main carnivals that hold on December 26 and 27 of every year. On such dry run days, the designated routes are closed to traffic from 12 noon, preventing vehicular mobility within the city centre.
In the petition signed by Effiong Udowong, Akpabio E., Lawrence Stephen, Theodore Effiong, Ephraim Effiong, Eugene Nyong, Elijah Effiong, Pastor Wisdom Asuquo, Martins Otudor and Helen Eze, all members of executive of CYAG, the governor was advised to find an alternative day to Sunday “as Christians cannot be stopped from worshiping God.”
“The spirit of carnival is seductive and distortive, hence the high rate of HIV/AIDS in the state. Most churches that run shift are always deprived the opportunity to do so because they are forced to shut down. The introduction of carnival has led to the increase of street children around our state capital and the vices therein,” the group said.
The group urged Governor Imoke not to make inglorious history by having churches shut down during his tenure.

Shut-up if You Don't Want to be Disgraced’ – Okogie Told Chris Okotie

A retired Catholic Archbishop of Lagos, Anthony Cardinal Okogie, has warned the Senior Pastor of the Household of God Church International, Lagos, Chris Okotie, against speaking out of ignorance or face public ridicule.
The cardinal was reacting to a recent controversial comment credited to Okotie that “all Catholics will go to hell”.
The flamboyant Okotie had while criticizing the Catholic Church in a sermon, said the church was “a counterfeit church set up by Satan”, adding that Catholics “bow to idols and crucify Jesus every Sunday when they eat bread claiming they are eating Jesus’ body”. SEE MAIN SOURCE

The comment has since generated widespread condemnation from Catholics, who fumed over the propriety or otherwise of such a comment. But Okotie stood his ground saying “Truth is bitter”, in apparent response to the reaction his sermon generated.
Describing the Catholic Church as “a counterfeit church set up by Satan,” Okotie said, “They (Catholics) are not Christians and have never been. They don’t know Jesus. They believe that when they eat bread on Sundays, they are eating the body of Jesus. its ritual”, he added.
Okogie, however, flayed the comment saying it was wrong for the 55-year-old pastor to speak on what he knew little or nothing about.
He said, “It is always good to talk on what you know, not on what you do not know. The problem we have today is that a lot of people put their mouth in what does not concern them because they want people to know that they too are there; that they can be reckoned with.
“I don’t think that is the way to do things, no. I think the best thing is to always put your mouth where God puts it, if you don’t want to be disgraced”, Okogie warned.

Boko Haram: CAN Urges FG To Take Latest Threat Seriously

The Northern section of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) has urged the federal government and security agencies to take the latest threat against Christians by the Boko Haram terrorist group with all seriousness, to avert further destruction of lives and property.
The religious body also urged Christians all over the country to be vigilant, prayerful and to take the security of their environment very seriously.
The Northern CAN, covering the 19 northern states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), in a reaction to recent threats by the leader of the Boko Haram sect, Abubakar Shekau, maintained that Christians have always believed that the Islamic sect was out to wipe out Christianity and urged the Presidency and its security apparatus to buckle up before the sect and its sponsors plunge the country into chaos.
Reports said Shekau sent an email to some journalists, declaring that the sect was fighting President Jonathan and his Christian brethren, and that Nigerians should be under no illusion that the sect was not fighting a religious war. SEE MAIN SOURCE
Boko Haram emir Abubakar Shekau makes his first major video appearance
“They try to brainwash the people that we are fighting an ethnic war. No, we are fighting a religious war, we are fighting Jonathan, we are fighting Christians”, Shekau was reported to have said in the email.
Reacting to the development however, spokesman of Northern CAN, Mr. Sunday Oibe said the Christian community in Nigeria has never been deceived from the fact that the issue of Boko Haram is a religious war against Christianity.
“We have been saying this loud and clear that Boko Haram is out to eliminate Christianity but some people, who want to play politics out of this, said Boko Haram is not a declaration of war against Christianity.
“Now what the Islamic group is saying is a confirmation of what we have always believed. But the question we want to ask is this: what has Christians done to them? We have tolerated them (Boko Haram) for a long time and we want to tell them that there is a limit to which we can tolerate the killing of Christians and the destruction of their property.
“We want to tell them that no country survives a religious war and they should not plunge this country into any of that”, Oibe said.
Speaking further, he noted, “the fact that Christians have tolerated all murderous and destructive activities of Boko Haram for too long do not mean they would be allowed to continue with their evil, inhuman and ungodly act.”
Oibe, who said the threat was a declaration of war against the Nigerian society, therefore called on the Presidency and the security agencies to take the threat very seriously.
He also appealed to Muslim leaders in the North to call the sect members to order and stop them from attacking Christians, adding that Christians were not the problem of the North.
“If it is the issue of poverty in the North, it is not the Christians that are responsible for that; it is the Northern Muslims that rule this country for many years that should be held responsible for the poverty in the North, not the Christians.
“In fact the Christians are the most disadvantaged people, particularly in the north. They deny us of things that will make life meaningful to us. Christians in the North are being marginalised and discriminated, so why is Boko Haram declaring war on Christians.
“We are using this opportunity to call on the international community to take this latest threat with all seriousness by cooperating with the Nigerian government to protect the lives and property of Christians and flush these people out of our society.
“We urged Christians in every community across the country to be very vigilant, to be prayerful and to take the security of their environment very, very seriously.
“This was how they issued their threats in the past and they carried out their attacks. The federal government and the security agencies and indeed well-meaning Nigerians must not allow Boko Haram, their agents and sponsors to succeed again in their evil deeds,” Oibe said.

Kim K shows off Xmas gift from Kanye, a hand-painted Hermes bag

Yesterday Kim Kardashian showed off the Christmas gift she got from Kanye West on her instagram page. It's a tan Hermes Birkin leather handbag (pictured above).. You would think it's not a big deal because Kim has lots of Hermes bags which retails for around $10,000 to $30,000, but...this bag is different. After buying the bag, Kanye commissioned legendary Americancontemporary visual artist George Condo to hand-paint a nude on the front of the bag. The design features several nude female figures and a bare-chested monster.

George Condo's paintings are sold for hundreds of thousand of dollars...one even recently sold for $1.3 million. Now ladies and gentlemen, you may be looking at one of the most expensive bags ever made! Kanye don't play! SEE MAIN SOURCE

Banker slices husband’s penis with knife. (See photos)

Found this bizarre story on
Aftereffet.comA woman took a knife and sliced her husband's penis during a fight at their home in Surulere. Read the report below...
The popular saying that hell has no fury than a woman scorned came to pass on Monday at the Surulere residence of a banker, Bimbo Ajetumobi Daniju and her gospel singer husband Olalekan Idowu Daniju when the woman allegedly took a knife and sliced her husband’s penis during a fight.
Bimbo, staff of a new generation bank in Lagos was said to have accused her husband of not taking care of her and their only child, Opeoluwa. The husband disagreed and while fighting, Bimbo allegedly seized her husband’s penis and sliced it with a knife. Bimbo denied using a knife but her fingernails to teach her husband a lesson on how not to treat a woman. The ugly incident happened on Monday at their Falolu Street, Surulere home.

The matter was reported to the police at Surulere station and the woman was arrested. In her statement to the police, Bimbo denied using a knife on her husband’s penis but her fingernails.
She was later released on bail when her husband insisted that he was not interested in pressing charges against her.

Trouble started on 16 December when the banker who is a staff of the Agege Motor Road branch of the bank, accused her husband who has just returned from the church, of failing to provide for the needs of the family and leaving her to do everything. She also accused him of being selfish and uncaring.

She reportedly shouted at Olalekan who was eating and when he didn’t answer, poured his plate of food on his head. She took a bucket found in the room and smashed it on his head. This resulted in fighting.

Their neighbours separated them and Olalekan went to his sister’s shop to seek refuge but not done yet Bimbo allegedly followed him there and threatened to stab him with a broken bottle.
Relatives and neighbours, it was gathered, intervened and pleaded with the couple to give peace a chance but the couple continued to live like a cat and mouse.

Madam Kehinde Daniju, sister of Olalekan told
P.M.NEWS that when her brother ran to her for help, she had to call their mother and other relatives to settle the matter for them in the family house they lived.

She explained that Bimbo’s mother who also lived around the area came and told her daughter not to accept reconciliation until Olalekan got a job. She blamed the couple’s constant disagreement on Olalekan’s refusal to get a job.

When she was leaving she took along the couple’s only son, Opeoluwa Daniju.

This did not go down well with Olalekan who ordered his wife to go to her mother’s house and bring his son before 8 p.m. or there would be trouble.

It was said that Bimbo left the house before 8 p.m and returned 30 minutes later without Opeoluwa.
This resulted in another round of fighting during which neighbours and relatives intervened again to separate them.

Narrating his story, Olalekan said he woke her up on Sunday to ask what she would be wearing to the church so that he could iron it but she didn’t reply.
“ I picked up my son’s cloth, ironed it, bathed him, had my bath and left both of them at home and went to church. In between the service, I came home to check on them and I met her cooking, I even joked that thank God there’s something for them to eat.

"I went back to church and after the service I was I hungry I bought bread and beans to eat and as I got inside, my boy told me he also wanted to eat bread and I gave it to him.

When she learnt that I gave the boy bread, she said I didn’t bother to ask her where she got money to prepare the rice that she ate and she started calling me several unprintable names.
“I responded again and this time it was a huge mistake. She just came near me, carried the plate of beans and pour the food on my head. She held my tie shouting and cursing me at the same time. I managed to extricate myself from her grip and ran out. She nearly suffocated me with the tie. She pursued me and broke a plastic bucket on my head but I continued to run. She picked up a bottle, broke it and threatened to stab me with it. This is a woman that is about five month pregnant.
“I ran to my sister’s shop and tried to involve her but she stayed out of the matter because they all know that she is rude, stubborn and violent. There was a day she and her brothers came here with thugs from Ojuelegba they wanted to beat up everybody here. She has chased me on the street with all sort of dangerous things. I don’t really know what she wants to achieve with all this but that day, her mum came, my mum’s sister came also and they tried to resolve the whole thing.

“I saw my mum’s sister off and before I came back, my mother-in-law had taken my son away and I was like we are trying to solve one issue and you are trying to cause another problem. I told her that if by 8p.m. that evening my child is not back home, she would not find it funny.

“I said that to make her know that I was serious but she said that there’s nothing I can do. She left the house before 8p.m. and came back 30 minutes later without my son. She took her bath and went to sleep I went to my sister and told her I am going to my mother-in-law’s house to get my child but my family ask me not to go there. At that time, I was tired, confused and hungry. I picked up my laptop but while I was trying to watch a movie I fell asleep in the sitting room.

“She woke me up at about 2a.m.. I was in a pair of boxer shorts. She told me that it is either I kill her or she kills me and within seconds she had torn my shorts. This was not surprising anyway as she had torn many of my clothes in the past. She said ‘I am going to kill you this morning. You think I am joking’. The whole thing happened so fast I just felt her hand in holding my penis, and the next thing was blood flowing. I started shouting and crying for her to take me to the hospital.

“She said ‘hospital ke, that’s where you are going to die today’ and that was the last time I saw her. I don’t know how she left the house at that time of the night. She changed her clothes, took a big bag and left, only for us to see her two days later at the police station.
There and then, I decided I cannot continue living with her, she could just decide to put poison in my food and kill me one day.

“It’s only a person that’s alive that can explain anything. She could just poison me and cook up a story just like she did at the police station where she told the police officers that I woke her up at 2a.m. and started hitting her, almost beating her to death and the officers clapped for her for a lovely story. The officers asked how come I did all that and she had the strength to run away and she didn’t run to the hospital, that is, someone that was almost being beaten to death should go to the hospital and there was no doctor’s report. The person you injured brought his own medical report, we could see that the injury was bandaged.

“The officers told her that there’s no mark on her to signify being beaten, she replied that she didn’t go to any hospital because there was no mark on her she also claimed that she didn’t use any knife but that she used her fingernails to scratch my penis,” he said.

Efforts to speak with Bimbo at her mother’s home proved abortive as our reporter was prevented from talking to her.

“Award Winning DJ HAZAN aka *The Undisputed* Debuts his 1st official Single featuring the super talented Mr GehnGehn, OREZI on the track Buggie Down. DJ HAzan is a turntable wizard at Voodoo lounge at the Elegushi Beach. On this Uptempo track Produced by Hit-maker Del B who I can categorically say is responsible for about 60% of the club bangers in 2013. Orezi as usual delivers on this one!”

New Music: K-Solo - Faraya

To mark K-Solo‘s birthday, the “Street Hop” producer releases a new single tagged “Faraya”. A couple of years ago, he was arguably the hottest Street Hop producer in the market; his closest competition being Terry G. In recent times, K-Solo has focused a bit more on family as well as releasing his own singles. Hopefully, 2014 will mark a huge comeback for the rated beatmaker. Bump the party tune Above Download

Wizkid’s Girlfriend vs Davido’s Girlfriend, Who Is Hotter?

Both of these ladies are young, beautiful and doing very well in the Nigeria music industry. They have both being compared in almost everything such as who is finer, who has more fans, who has got more money, who sings better, who has more swag and etc.
Both artist’s girlfriends have never been compared properly.
Unlike WizKid, who has a girlfriend and flaunts his relationship, lots of fans don’t know Davido also has a girlfriend too! A very beautiful one for that matter!
Her name is Nish Kards. Just like Tania Omotayo, she is mixed too! One wonders why Davido doesn’t want to flaunt his relationship. Probably it’s because he doesn’t want the media to spoil things for him.
We have put many pictures is this article to ease the process of evaluation and judgment. They includethe pictures of Wizkid and his girlfriend Tania Omotayo together and individual pictures of Tania Omotayo. Also below are the pictures of Davido and his girlfriend Nish Kards together and individual pictures of Nish Kards. SEE ORIGINAL SOURCE......

So, it’s up to you to decide. Who is hotter?
